Governor’s Cup Trophy Scoring
The winner of the Colorado
Governor’s Cup Trophy shall be awarded to the boat with the lowest Cup score
as determined below: Total points for all races
(no throw outs) in the Regatta for each boat divided by the number of boats
competing in that boat’s fleet yields the Cup score.
If there is a Cup Score tie
between two or more boats, each boat’s race scores shall be listed in order of
best to worst, and at the first point(s) where there is a difference the tie
shall be broken in favour of the boat(s) with the best race score(s). This
procedure will be discontinued at the point where any remaining participant to
the tie runs out of scores due to fleets completing different numbers of races.
All parties to any remaining tie will be recognized as cup winners. Bruce Bates
