More About SAIL:

• Services

  SAIL provides many services to its members (both organizations & individual), to the sport and to all sailors in the Rockies. Click here for a description..

• Meetings:

  • Monthly meetings

    of Board members & interested others to conduct day-to-day business. Open to all, usually held on the first Tuesday of each month, 7:00 PM, typically at the Blue Bonnet Cafe on South Broadway. Contact an officer or committee chair for location or changes to the schedule.

  • Annual meeting

    A meeting of general membership is held annually on the first Saturday of November to elect officers, award trophies, coordinate schedule, and conduct other business The location varies, contact an officer or committee chair for information.

  • Special meetings

    May be called to deal with emergencies, either by any officer or by petition of 10 or more members to the Commodore.

• Finances:

  See how little money we run on & where it goes. Hints: Most of our income comes from members' dues. Thanks to donations and most of our functions being performed by volunteers, most of our expenses go to communicating with & serving members. Click here.
   

• Area & Region:

  SAIL is part of the larger scheme for governing the sport of sailing within the United States. Three states and part of another in the  Rocky Mountains are our region. Area F includes two other regions, Texas & Central States. More here.
   

• Calendar:

  The founding purpose of SAIL was to coordinate the racing schedule and it remains one of our most important functions. Our calendar now includes regattas, meetings, etc. Click here.
